What We Did While Greyson and Tristan Were Away

We found a free pool! Well, they tax half of our salary for this "free" pool, but it felt good to pass through the gate without showing I.D. or handing over any money. Just walk right in! And it was pretty good sized too...

Kiki and Dorothy (who's family was the original pool finder) made good use of the diving boards....

They had a Sawyer size pool too.

And a nice shady park for Boochee Tag.

Doesn't this picture make you sad?

We met a spunky little dog that liked to play soccer...

Until you got near his ball.

Sawyer realized it felt scary to be on the high side of the see-saw.

After the park and pool we all took a break for snack....

I like Kiki's face best when she doesn't know I'm capturing it.

This is the face of someone who just ate all the orange slices that were meant to be shared.

This is the face of someone in a hot van who wants to fall asleep on the way home.

"Kiki, tell him a story to keep him awake," I suggested.

So Kiki launched into a motorcycle story for Sawyer and his face changed to this in about 2 seconds....

The story was all about Daisy and her doggy friends finding $100 and wondering what to do with it.
"Give me the money for a motorcycle!" said Sawyer.
And that's exactly how the story ended.
