Remember these cookies?
This is what they look like after they've been left in the oven for 45 minutes. Someone put the cookie sheet back in the oven last night. Man, I looked everywhere for that missing cookie sheet! I turned the oven on this morning to preheat and then got distracted cleaning the basement. I kept smelling a strange burning smell but attributed it to the spilled blueberry pie filling I knew was already there. What a surprise to open the oven and find chocolate cookies! The smell was horrible. But Greyson thought it would be cool to try one....
That's as far as his bite got.
