Look Mom!

"The raspberries have growed!"
"They've growed? Come show me!"

In an attempt to cheer up Kiki we made a tasty treat. Turns out, her throat is too sore to swallow it. Tristan was happy though....
"You're making chocolate chip cookies?! Yaaaaaay, I LOVE the ones you make!"
"Ah, thank you!"
"I do, they're SO yummy!"
I told him that blesses a mothers's heart, which was pretty much lost on him.

Chicken Pox House - Day Three

More spots, more itching, more movies, and catalogue shopping. Anything to distract.

Puppets worked for awhile. The kids make each other laugh really hard with this one. I usually can't follow the story line but every once in awhile I'll catch a bit of it...
"Are you the manager here?, NO? Well then I'll just have to sit on you."
I'm surprised Whinny the skunk has made it this far. My best friend Jill gave it to me when I was 5 years old.
"Sawyer, did you know that I had that puppet, when I was little? I use to be little, just like you!"

"How little were you Mom, like this?"

Chicken Pox House - Day Two

More spots! A little fever. And lots of movies.

Packing a Lunch....

Sawyer packed his own lunch today. What was in the bag?

An apple, a banana, two pairs of shoes, some sesame snacks, some grapes, a gun and a phone.

Why Everyone Wants Cereal For Dinner at My House

If you put balsamic vinegar, corn, red onions, chicken, and blue cheese over warm spinach leaves, most likely this is the face you will get.....

It's All Over the House...

"Sawyer, you can't leave your blanket all over the house. That's how it gets dirty. If you want to find it at bedtime, then go put where it belongs, on your bed."
"My blanket has to go to bed?" asked Sawyer.
"Uhhhhhh.....yes!" I answered.
Roundabout lunchtime:
"Mom, can my blanket get up now?"
Poor little Sawyer. He doesn't need to hold his blanket, he just likes it to be wherever he is.

How Tristan Ate His Dinner Last Night....

Todd accidentally cut the corn off of one too many cobs. Tristan was not deterred.
