Waiting Game

Sawyer found some "new" Bob-the-Builder shoes in our cedar closet. He was elated because they fit just right. He'd been waiting a long time for new shoes. Then yesterday he tried them out in the lake. Soggy, squishy, tennis shoes. So he asked me to wash them and he watched me put them in the washing machine. Quite a while later I walked into the laundry room to find this....


"I only see one shoe mom. I fink dee uh-ver one is gone!"
