Something New at Grandma's House...

The boys got a front row seat. What better way to spend the morning than to watch construction workers scaling a roof?
It's every boy's dream.
.
In fact, boys from all over the neighborhood, age 5 to 75 have been stopping by to get the latest on Granddad's garage project. They can't help themselves. Construction is an automatic draw.
.
Construction, and tools. Tools in a truck. Can life get any better?
.
Tim Allen was right, you could hear his Man Purr echoing off the cinder block walls around here.
.
It's a candy store in their own backyard.

For girls, we couldn't wait until our play dishes and play jewelry became "real".
For boys, it's plastic hammers and screwdrivers turning into something heavy and made out of metal that can really build or fix something!
So true!

"man purr bouncing off the cinder blocks" LLLLLLLLLLL

Can you believe this? My word is "judgeria" -- must be a place you go to select just the right magistrate to preside over your lawsuit.

Or, a cafeteria where you vote about whether others should try that entree, based on having had it yourself.
