It's Gone....

Well, the first picture is the underside of our kitchen sink. Poor Daddy had to take a snapshot of it and then tool this picture around to 5 different stores to find just the right part to finish the job of installing a new kitchen faucet.
We are not house people.
We are artists.
Plumbers and electricians exist for people like us.
But we do know that working on plumbing requires turning off the water to the house.

Enter a boy who does not know this:


He was gone for the day while the drama was taking place at our house. He came home, and tried to wash his hands. Then he promptly ran into the kitchen and with great importance and the gravest tone he's ever used, announced, "Mom, I have really, really, really, really bad news."
"There's no more water in the sink."
That's it.
It's gone.
The whole family will have to pack up and move on to greener pastures and a house that still has sinks WITH water.
