Hot tamale! We made some of them. Did you know tamales are steamed? We put them in a big pasta strainer pot and it did the job just fine. The whole process from cooking the big roast, shredding it, making the mesa mixture, spreading the paste, and rolling it all up took about two days. I'm not sure we'll make it a yearly tradition, but they did taste really good!
Greyson got another big Lego set and it was the coolest one I've seen. It was a spy van with lots of cool gadgets and hide-aways. Tristan and he spent the whole day after Christmas putting their respective Lego sets together.

But this was Tristan's favorite present. He practiced every day!

And this was Greyson's. The big hills around Grandma's house were perfect to try it out and take a few spills.
