Gourmet Chef in the Midst of Chaos....

Dan has four boys, 10,11,12, and 13. We designed this apron for him because he loves to cook like a gourmet chef and, well.... the boys make up for the rest.

Matthew sets the table....

The biiiiiiiiiig table.

This is how we celebrate 44 years. (For me, not Trevor).

And this is how Dan makes a gourmet breakfast.

Thanks to Aunt Cecee for Derby High cinnamon rolls.

And Rusty too.....

Dan has a great Golden that's an integral part of the family.

Big ol' bear dog.

My Nephews' New School....

Don't you wish you could go to a little country school that still has a bell?....

And signs like this?........

There's nothing "little" about their playground though, it was the best I've seen...

Matthew and all the boys get to go here. Aren't they lucky?

My Mom....

Her skin has seen 29,930 sunsets, and it glows like they're stored within her heart.
Like most people in her generation, she takes tons of pills to keep her healthy, but they are all vitamins! Not a medication among them.
This is a picture I have embedded in my mind. I love my mom's hands. They are graceful and loving and kind. If you ever met her, I don't think you'd ever forget her.

Parting Gifts

Before we left LA, Harrison and Vika made sure we were well stocked....
With treats for the long plane ride.....
And weaponry that could make it past security....
We shaw is a gonna miss them!

It Took Three Days....

Well, the camera cord has arrived and I have a few vacation posts to catch up on. But first, here's what we've been doing since we arrived home:

Before

After

A Dog for all Seasons.....

Daisy is really lucky to have a caring, loving, master like Kiki.

I think she feels the same way too....
